Before you start creating your website please read this page along with
the Tutorial page. These pages will help you get started.
Adding a page to the navigation structure
In the Folder List, select the page and drag it to the position in the structure
where you want it.
How to modify the included page
Included Page function is used in this template. Once you modify the area
where the Included Page function is used in the associated file, your changes
will automatically appear on all pages.
1. A copyright at the bottom of each page. -> includes/copyright. tm
2. Information box on the left of each page. -> includes/info_box.htm
3. Company Logo -> includes/logo.htm
4. Global menu at the top of each page -> includes/menu_global.htm
5. Main menu at the bottom of each page. -> includes/menu_main.htm
How to edit the current logo text to yours
1. Open the logo.psd file included in the "psd" folder in Photoshop program.
2. Change the logo text to yours.
3. On the File menu in Photoshop, go to Save for Web.
4. Save it as "logo.gif" file. Copy and paste the file to the images folder.
Replacing the current logo with your own
Make sure your logo file is saved in a transparent GIF file format. And
do not add a logo that is larger than the maximum height stated on the logo.
1. Delete the current logo in the logo.htm page.
2. Add your own logo (on the Insert menu, go to Picture>From File).
3. Save.
Replacing the flash menu text
1. If you open the flash_text.txt file included in the web folder in FrontPage
program, you will find the following codes;
&menu_1=Catalog
&menu_2=Getting Started
&menu_3=News
&menu_4=Tutorial
&menu_5=FAQ
2. Change the text in orange to your own.
3. Save.
Replacing the flash text
1. If you open the flash_text.txt file included in the web folder in FrontPage
program, you will find the following codes;
&text_1=Add Your Slogan Here!
&text_2=Wide Business and Personal Web Sites
2. Change the text in orange to your own.
3. Save
Replacing the flash images
1. Create your own images in graphic program such as Photoshop and then
save as the same file names. When you save the files, you need to save it
in .jpg file format.

2. Copy and paste your image files into the images folder.
3. Images in the flash banners will be automatically replaced with your
own.
Editing the flash menu link
1. If you open the sh_link.js file included in the web folder in FrontPage
program, you will find the following codes;
case 1:window.location="catalog.htm" ;break;
case 2:window.location="gettingstarted.htm"
;break;
case 3:window.location="news.htm" ;break;
case 4:window.location="tutorial.htm" ;break;
case 5:window.location="faq.htm" ;break;
2. Replace the page link in green colour to your own. Do not change anything.
3. Save.
Importing the modified flash movie into your web
1. In Normal view in FrontPage, select the current flash movie and delete.
2. On the Insert menu, click Web Component.
3. In the left pane, click Advanced Controls.
4. In the right pane, double-click Plug-In.
5. In the Data source box, type the URL of the file (your modified .swf
file), or click Browse to locate the file.
6. Specify the width and height of your flash movie.
7. Click OK.
